The apps profiled include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Netflix, and Spotify. Furthermore, not really an app, but all apps do get automatically updated to new versions if they are available on iOS Apple Store or Google Play Store. Not many are aware of this, but these updates will lead to high consumption of data play. So, to avoid it, go to Settings and change the updates to only ‘via WiFi.’
