Radio Signals From Deep Space Could Be Aliens.

Arecibo Observatory

The Astrophysical Journal published on 16 December 2016 the results by scientists working at the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia and the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico on what they had termed Fast Radio Bursts (FRB). Five repeated FRBs were detected at the former and one at the latter, from a source way beyond our Milky Way, in the direction of the Auriga Constellation (see lead photograph above of the Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405), IC 410, and AE Aurigae). So far, 17 FRBs have been detected coming from a point in the Constellation named FRB 121102, some 3 billion light years from Earth. The first such FRBs were discovered in 2012. There are possibilities that such energy bursts may be the result of flares from a neutron star. The brighter stars that make up the Auriga Constellation is visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere.
