Christ Transcends All Else.
The retrieval is not territorial. Christianity is not a territorial expression. The retrieval is spiritual. It aims not to have the map more Christian but Christ more widely known. We are not concerned with the comparative strength of another faith and ‘Christendom’ but the absolute loss of Christ. The retrieval to which we are called does not mean taking back cathedrals from another faith, but giving back the Christ. The external tokens of his displacement are important only because of the displacement they symbolize. To restore Christ transcends all else.
