Interrogating Multiculturalism

This thoughtful article by Dr Ronald Chia, the Chew Hock Hin Professor of Christian Doctrine at Trinity Theological College and the Theological and Research Advisor to the ETHOS Institute for Public Christianity in Singapore, proposes a view of what it means to be multicultural. The recent terrorist attacks and the pushback from the far right political elements in France and other countries have exacerbated the failures of Western multicultural policies. Together with the recent mass influx of refugees from the Middle East and northern and eastern Africa to Europe, it has raised concerns on immigration and future peace and order issues.
