Our brain learns quickly to adjust to differing levels of stress, despite the body’s limited capacities to cope with increasing degrees of it. Different individuals possess varying levels of stress thresholds under diverse circumstances. We all need some stress to effectively do a job well, but what is harmful is a subtle sustained level of stress that increases almost imperceptibly till a point is reached when the body begins to send out warning signals.
