What Is My Real Age?

What Is My Real Age?

In a two-part series by the BBC called How To Stay Young, presenters Angela Rippon and Dr Chris van Tulleken travelled the world in search of the latest science that could help us all stay young & healthy for longer. In the first episode, The Body, Angela and Chris discover that scientists now know how much of the way we age is down to genetics – and how much of it is down to the way we live our lives. They look at the latest science that reveals the best lifestyle choices we can make to combat the effects of ageing. The second episode explores what can give brains a boost. In America, Angela tries out a new treatment that’s proven to help memory and concentration. In Japan, a remarkable 100-year-old reveals the colourful foods that keep minds more active. Plus Chris discovers the best exercise we can do for our brains. This simple test in the link below, distills some of the ideas from their two-part documentary, provides a non-medical guide to our real age compared to our biological age.
