In this article, Steve McCurry walks us through what he considered to be the 11 wonders of mankind as part of his 2016 Overseas Tour for Vacheron Constantin. Steve’s name had been linked to one of his famous photographs taken for National Geographic Society in 1984, in the Nasir Bagh refugee camp in Pakistan during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan: Miss Sharbat Gula, the Afghan Girl, was a young lady with piercing green eyes that caught Steve’s attention.
