Drug-Resistant Bacteria in Food Persists.
Imagine this to be in foods sold widely in the supermarkets, in this case in the U.K., where one would have expected tighter safety regulations. And this is just a sample testing endeavour. Wide use of antibiotics in agriculture have obviously contributed to such a progression of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in meat products. I wonder what would be the results of such investigations in our respective countries on food sold in supermarkets, not to mention the open wet markets found in all third world nations.
