Is The Brain Like A Computer
Neuroscientists are still debating about the exact content and the mechanics of consciousness, and it is by no means clear they are agreed on it. It can be illogical and at times un-algorithmic, whereas a computer is neither, as its usefulness is dependent on the fundamentals of numeric physics. However, there is no doubt that perhaps one day in the not too distant future, humanoid robots will resemble us more and more, but consciousness… I am not too sure that can be fundamentally replicated. This article summarizes the debating details between a mathematical physicist, Roger Penrose, and a theoretical computer scientist, Scott Aaronson, over the above-mentioned subject.
