A Sentosa Outing
A school holiday outing began at Bedok Mall’s MacDonalds, with Benjamin and Glenice Tay, and their kids, Kymie, Zac, and Jeriah for early breakfast. Followed by a cable car ride from Harbour Front to Mount Faber, and on to Sentosa. This was the first time we (Donna and I) had been on the cable car. And still in a cable car, proceeded to Merlion station (this is a new cable line) for the SEA Aquarium, South-East Asia’s largest aquarium. This came with a credible multi-media presentation of the Maritime Experiential Museum’s ‘ship-caught-in-a-storm’ show. After the little drenching from the storm, watching the unending exhibits of marine life in their watery environment is calming, especially with the comfortable visitor numbers that morning. Then a welcome break for lunch at the Malaysian Food Street with its delectable variety of local cuisine, followed by window-shopping around Universal Studios, and ending with a return cable car ride back to Harbour Front.
