I am not sure about anywhere else, but this is unimaginable in Singapore, where four-wheelers are the masters of the roads! In the mid-1970s, motorists found themselves banished from cross-city trips. Heated bicycles paths were put in place for frost-free rides in this university town in the Netherlands. Other bicycle friendly measures like rain sensors for wet days and new parking rails for bikers were implemented. Today, over 60% of trips in Groningen are made by bicycles, and air quality has made it one of the cleanest Dutch cities. What a dream for my city!
