Chiang Mai Holiday in Early 2015
Here are a few scenes from our visit to Chiang Mai, Thailand, last month. The photographs included the hotel and the Royal Gardens just on the outskirts of Chiang Mai. Parts of the Gardens were at its peak, with flowering plants and orchids, and a range of bitter gourds; the latter like lanterns hanging from their frames. To the north of the Garden, a Temple was commissioned for the King. Elephants form part of the work force in the mountains. These model elephants are porcelain crafted in various sizes, and sold to support elephant sanctuaries in various countries.
