The initial project – The Jeweled Garden – started three years ago. The Swarovski team engaged acclaimed American jewelry designer, Matthew Campbell Laurenza, to partner on an art project to create unique sculptures inspired by the flora and fauna of the nature world, highlighting Swarovski’s beautiful genuine gemstones assortment.
As the project evolved, it expanded to include an accompanying line of jewelry for Atelier Swarovski. In total, the collection features 15 sculptures – ranging from flowers and mushrooms to a spider and a dragonfly – as well as 15 one-of-a-kind hand crafted jewelry pieces. The exquisite collection comprised of eight rings, four bracelets and three necklaces is made with semi-precious and precious gemstones including multi-colored sapphires, amethyst, rhodolite, garnets, spinel, and topaz. Each meticulously handmade piece is set in 18KT gold.
