Optical Illusions by Akiyoshi Kitaok

Optical Illusions by Akiyoshi Kitaok

akiyoshikitaoka1You could spend hours gazing at these mesmerizing optical illusions by Psychology Professor Kitaoka at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. He creates psychedelic still images that give the impression of being in motion. His most popular optical illusion is Rotating snakes, which can be seen here. In the image, circular snakes appear to rotate endlessly, producing an entrancing mass of slowly spinning shapes.
